A journey through the aromas and rituals of Japan, guided by tea.

Join us for a unique experience: a tasting of Japanese teas coming directly from the plantations of Yamatokoseicha, in the Izumi region (Kagoshima Prefecture), an unspoiled land that has preserved the tradition of top-quality tea for centuries.

The event will be led by Beniamino Peruzzi Castellani, sociologist and scholar of Japanese culture (Scuola Normale Superiore / Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna), who will guide participants through the history, culture, and cultivation techniques of Japanese tea.

Tasting selection:
Shincha – the fresh and elegant new spring harvest
Sanbancha – the bold and intense third summer harvest
Hōjicha – the warm and relaxing roasted tea

To enrich the experience, two varieties of traditional mochi will be served, along with music to make the atmosphere even more immersive.
